Materials* Replacement car radio
* Phillips head screwdriver
* Pry tool (optional)

Safety Precautions* Disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery before starting any electrical work.
* Allow the car to cool down completely before beginning.

Step 1: Remove the Dashboard Trim* Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws located at the top of the dashboard trim.
* Gently pry the trim away from the dashboard, starting from the bottom corners.
* Disconnect any electrical connectors attached to the trim, such as those for the hazard lights or clock.

Step 2: Remove the Radio Trim* Locate the two screws on the left and right sides of the radio trim.
* Remove the screws and pull the trim towards you to detach it from the dashboard.

Step 3: Unplug the Radio Harness* Locate the radio harness, which is a large bundle of wires connected to the back of the radio.
* Use your fingers or a small pry tool to gently release the clips holding the harness in place.
* Pull the harness away from the radio.

Step 9: Reinstall the Dashboard Trim* Connect any electrical connectors that were previously disconnected from the dashboard trim.
* Snap the trim back onto the dashboard, starting from the top and working your way down.
* Tighten the two screws at the top of the trim.

Step 10: Reconnect the Battery* Reconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.
* Turn on the car and check that the new radio is functioning properly.

Tips* If you encounter any resistance when removing the dashboard or radio trims, do not force it. Gently pry the trim away using a plastic pry tool.
