Materials:
1/2 inch copper pipe (about 12 inches long)
1/4 inch copper pipe (about 6 inches long)
1/4 inch brass elbow
1/4 inch brass T-fitting
1/4 inch brass valve
1/4 inch NPT to 1/4 inch compression fitting
1/4 inch compression nut
1/4 inch ferrule
1/4 inch compression sleeve
Heat gun
Pliers
Drill
1/16 inch drill bit
Screwdriver
Wire strippers
Electrical tape
12-volt battery
Alligator clips
Hairspray

Instructions:
Cut the 1/2 inch copper pipe to a length of 12 inches. This will be the barrel of the hair curler.
Cut the 1/4 inch copper pipe to a length of 6 inches. This will be the handle of the hair curler.
Bend the 1/4 inch copper pipe into a U-shape. This will be the base of the hair curler.
Solder the 1/4 inch copper pipe to the 1/2 inch copper pipe, making sure that the U-shape is facing down. This will create the barrel of the hair curler.
Solder the 1/4 inch brass elbow to the other end of the 1/4 inch copper pipe. This will be the outlet for the air.
Solder the 1/4 inch brass T-fitting to the bottom of the 1/2 inch copper pipe. This will be the inlet for the air.
Solder the 1/4 inch brass valve to one of the outlets of the 1/4 inch brass T-fitting. This will be used to control the flow of air.
Screw the 1/4 inch NPT to 1/4 inch compression fitting into the other outlet of the 1/4 inch brass T-fitting.
Slide the 1/4 inch compression nut onto the 1/4 inch compression fitting.
Slide the 1/4 inch ferrule onto the 1/4 inch compression fitting.
Slide the 1/4 inch compression sleeve onto the 1/4 inch compression fitting.
Tighten the 1/4 inch compression nut until the ferrule is tight against the 1/4 inch compression fitting.
Use a heat gun to heat the barrel of the hair curler until it is hot to the touch.
Wrap a section of hair around the barrel of the hair curler.
Hold the hair in place for 10-15 seconds, or until the hair is curled.
Repeat steps 15-17 until all of your hair is curled.
Set the curls with hairspray.

Tips:
You can adjust the size of the curls by changing the diameter of the 1/2 inch copper pipe.
You can also adjust the heat of the hair curler by changing the wattage of the heat gun.
Be careful not to overheat the hair curler, as this could damage your hair.
