How to Sharpen an Electric Razor141

Electric razors are a convenient and effective way to shave, but they can become dull over time. A dull razor can cause skin irritation, razor burn, and ingrown hairs. If you find that your electric razor is not shaving as well as it used to, it may be time to sharpen it.

Supplies you will need:

• Electric razor

• Sharpening stone

• Lubricating oil

• Clean cloth

Instructions:

1. Turn off the electric razor and unplug it from the power outlet.

2. Remove the shaving head from the razor.

3. Hold the sharpening stone in one hand and the shaving head in the other hand.

4. Gently rub the shaving head against the sharpening stone in a circular motion.

5. Continue sharpening the shaving head for 2-3 minutes, or until you feel that it is sharp.

6. Apply a few drops of lubricating oil to the shaving head.

7. Reattach the shaving head to the razor.

8. Plug the razor back into the power outlet and turn it on.

9. Test the razor on a small area of skin to make sure that it is shaving properly.

Tips:

• Sharpen your electric razor every 6-12 months, or as needed.

• Use a sharpening stone that is specifically designed for electric razors.

• Apply only a few drops of lubricating oil to the shaving head, as too much oil can clog the razor.

• If you are not comfortable sharpening your electric razor yourself, you can take it to a professional sharpener.

Benefits of sharpening your electric razor:

• Sharpening your electric razor will help it to shave more effectively.

• A sharp razor will reduce skin irritation, razor burn, and ingrown hairs.

• Sharpening your razor will extend its lifespan.
