Crocheting a baby earflap hat is a fun and easy project that can be completed in just a few hours. This hat is perfect for keeping your little one's head and ears warm during the cold winter months. The earflaps can be tied up or down, depending on the weather.

Materials:
1 skein of worsted weight yarn in the desired color
Crochet hook size H/8 (5mm)
Yarn needle

Instructions:

Round 1: make a magic ring, ch 1, 12 sc in the ring, sl st to join. (12)

Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, sl st to join. (24)

Round 3: ch 1, *sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc; repeat from * around, sl st to join. (36)

Round 4: ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st to join. (36)

Round 5: ch 1, *sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc; repeat from * around, sl st to join. (48)
