Baby Earflap Hat Tutorial Part Six326

Materials:- Fabric scraps
- Scissors
- Thread
- Sewing machine
- Iron

Instructions:

1. Cut two pieces of fabric, each measuring 14 inches by 18 inches. These will be the main pieces of the hat.

2. Fold one of the pieces of fabric in half lengthwise, and sew the two raw edges together. This will create the back of the hat.

3. Fold the other piece of fabric in half widthwise, and sew the two raw edges together. This will create the front of the hat.

4. Place the back of the hat on top of the front of the hat, aligning the raw edges. Sew the two pieces together around the edges, leaving a 2-inch opening at the bottom for the head.

5. Turn the hat right side out and press it flat. Fold the bottom edge up by 1 inch and press it. Fold the bottom edge up again by 1 inch and press it. Stitch the bottom edge in place.

6. Cut four pieces of fabric, each measuring 4 inches by 6 inches. Fold each piece of fabric in half lengthwise, and sew the two raw edges together. These will be the earflaps.

7. Place the earflaps on the sides of the hat, aligning the raw edges. Sew the earflaps in place.

8. Cut a piece of fabric measuring 12 inches by 24 inches. Fold the fabric in half lengthwise, and sew the two raw edges together. This will be the lining of the hat.

9. Place the lining inside the hat, aligning the raw edges. Sew the lining in place around the top edge of the hat.

10. Your baby earflap hat is now complete!
