Materials:* Worsted weight yarn in two colors (main color and contrast color)
* Crochet hook size H (5mm)
* Yarn needle
* Scissors

Instructions:

Step 1: Create the Main Section


Using the main color yarn, chain 98. Slip stitch into the first chain to form a circle. Chain 1.

Row 1: Single crochet (sc) into each chain around, join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (98 sc)

Row 2-14: Repeat Row 1.

Step 2: Create the Earflaps


Right Earflap:

Row 1: Chain 20. Slip stitch into the first chain to form a circle. Chain 1.

Row 2-10: Sc into each stitch around, join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (20 sc)

Left Earflap:

Chain 20. Slip stitch into the first chain to form a circle. Chain 1.

Row 2-8: Sc into each stitch around, join with a slip stitch to the first sc. (20 sc)

Step 3: Attach the Earflaps to the Main Section


Fold the main section in half, right sides together. Align the center of the right earflap with the fold and pin in place. Repeat with the left earflap.

Using the main color yarn, slip stitch around the raw edges of the earflaps, attaching them to the main section.

Step 4: Create the Brim


Round 1: Using the contrast color yarn, sc into each stitch around the bottom edge of the main section. (98 sc)
