Step 3: Measurement* Press the start button on the monitor.
* Keep your arm still and relaxed throughout the measurement.
* The monitor will inflate the cuff and then gradually release the pressure.
* You will hear a series of beeps or pulses as the pressure is released.
Step 4: Results* The monitor will display your systolic blood pressure (the highest pressure when your heart beats), diastolic blood pressure (the lowest pressure when your heart relaxes), and heart rate.
* Record your readings in a log or on your phone for future reference.
Tips for Accuracy* Take your readings at the same time each day.
* Measure your blood pressure in both arms to check for any differences.
* If you get different readings from different monitors, use the average of the two readings.
* Avoid taking your blood pressure after exercise or bathing.
